Archiving Policy
Al Amanah: Journal of Islamic Education is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles. The journal implements the following archiving strategies:
1. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Systems
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. These systems ensure that the journal content remains permanently accessible, even in the event that the journal ceases publication.
2. Institutional and Personal Repositories
Authors are encouraged to archive the final published version of their article in:
-
Institutional repositories of their affiliated universities or research institutions,
-
Subject-based repositories,
-
Personal websites or academic networking platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu),
provided that proper citation and a link to the original source or DOI is included.
3. Indexing and Digital Databases
All published articles are archived and indexed in various national and international digital databases in collaboration with journal partners and indexing services to ensure broad and secure access.
