Al Amanah: International Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. To ensure the integrity and availability of the scholarly record, the journal implements the following archiving policies:

  1. Digital Archiving
All published articles are archived and preserved in secure digital repositories to guarantee continued access even in the event of accidental loss or system failure.

  2. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS
The journal intends to utilize archiving systems such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe). These systems ensure that journal content is preserved in distributed, certified libraries worldwide.

  3. Institutional Repositories
Authors are encouraged to deposit the final published version of their articles in their institutional or subject-based repositories. This complies with the journal's open access policy and enhances the visibility and impact of the work.

  4. PKP Preservation Network (PN)
If hosted using Open Journal Systems (OJS), Al Amanah may register with the PKP Preservation Network, which provides free archiving for OJS-based journals, further supporting long-term digital preservation.

  5. Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are permitted and encouraged to archive pre-print, post-print, and publisher’s versions of their articles on personal websites, institutional repositories, or other open archives, with proper citation to the original source.

Through these measures, Al Amanah ensures that its scholarly publications remain securely stored, openly accessible, and permanently available for future generations of researchers.
