Author Guidelines

Thank you for considering Al Amanah: International Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies for your manuscript submission. To ensure a smooth review and publication process, please follow the guidelines below carefully.

1. Manuscript Types

We accept the following types of manuscripts:

• Original Research Articles

• Review Articles

• Critical Essays and Discussions

2. Submission Frequency

The journal publishes twice a year, in April and October.

3. Language

Manuscripts must be written in English and be clear, concise, and free of grammatical errors.

4. Manuscript Preparation

• Length: Articles should typically be between 4,000 and 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

• Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). Use 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.

• Title Page: Include the manuscript title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author’s email, and a short biography (optional).

• Abstract: Provide a concise abstract of 150-250 words summarizing the main objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

• Keywords: Include 4-6 keywords after the abstract.

• Headings: Use a clear hierarchy of headings and subheadings to organize the manuscript.

• References: Use APA 7th edition referencing style. Ensure all cited references are listed and vice versa.

5. Figures and Tables

• Include all figures and tables within the manuscript file, preferably near the relevant text.

• Ensure that all images are clear and of high resolution (300 dpi minimum).

• Provide captions for all figures and tables.

6. Ethical Considerations

• Authors must ensure the originality of their work and avoid plagiarism.

• Any research involving human or animal subjects must include a statement of ethical approval.

• Disclose any conflicts of interest and funding sources.

7. Copyright and Licensing

By submitting your manuscript, you agree to publish under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows others to share and adapt your work with appropriate credit.

8. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review to ensure academic rigor and quality. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ feedback.
